Hello, I'm Dr. Renée Rivard; thank you for visiting my site.
I am a Masterson Method® Certified Practitioner (MMCP) and certified Equine Therapeutic Massage Therapist (ETMT) from the Colorado Rocky Mountain School for Animal Acupressure and Massage. Both of these gentle modalities improve equine health and performance by helping the horse release tension and restriction naturally.
I have been passionate about the health and well-being of humans and animals alike for more than 40 years with a strong interest in natural modalities. My passion for animal well-being is reflected by my decades of volunteer service as a wildlife rescuer, rehabilitator, educator, and conservationist where I have contributed to wildlife and environmental conservation work in Australia, The Republic of Panama, and the US. My more recent volunteer work with equine therapeutic riding and equine rehabilitation stables in Colorado Springs rekindled a connection among my love of horses, health and natural healing. My doctorate in clinical pharmacy, bachelor's in biology, extensive study in the field of nutritional genomics, and post-graduate studies in evidence-based medicine and sustainability provide a knowledge base that supports my practice of sound, high-quality and holistic equine bodywork that is based on the latest science and a love for helping others improve their health and well-being.
